Engineering Technician I
Dreiym engineering is currently seeking a technician to assist field engineers in walk-downs, assessments, and work as needed.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Assists engineers with field activities as needed
- Communicate professionally with clients
- Provides administrative assistance to engineers, such as document control, photo processing, and project/subcontractor scheduling
- Coordinate calibration of tools and instruments
- Able to hold regular office hours when not in the field
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Entry-Level – Training Provided
- 0-2 Years of Experience (Technician I)
- 2-5 Years of Experience (Technician II)
- Associate of Science (AS) in a STEM field – Required
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
- Proficient with Windows
- Compliance with Drug & Alcohol Policy
- Compliance with Company Procedures
- Pass job required training
- Compliance with all Safe Work Procedures
- Valid Driver’s License
- Clean Driving Record
- Clean Criminal Record
- Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time
- Travel may occasionally require you to be away from home for extended periods.
- Must be able to work extended shifts
- Must be able to work on rough terrain
- Must be able to work outside, in hot and cold temperatures
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs and carry across rough terrain
- Must be able to fly commercially to project sites
- Must be able to drive to project sites
- Ability to climb or get into hard-to-reach areas, such as attics, crawl spaces or tunnels, remove appliances and/or other objects, and then load them onto a vehicle
- Must be able to travel on short notice
- Must occasionally be available for on-call duty
- Compliance with any additional requirements of the company, including future changes to policies
- Ability to obtain a CDL license if required
- Ability to self-teach and ask questions

Work Environment:
- Will regularly work outdoors in hot/cold temperatures with rain, snow, wind, etc.
- When not traveling or assisting engineers in the field, will be required to maintain a productive office.
